Just as the tree, whose vertical shape starts from the roots to the leaves, indicates a connection between the earthly world and the afterlife, embodying the universal concept of survival and evolution, the idea of the dream feeds this performance whose man and woman activate an exchange of vital energies that intertwine becoming body. Dreams, furthermore, arrive in the lungs and in the heart, in the depths where reality and unreality meet. During the dream the images take shape and consistency as if they were real objects and in Jewish literature for this reason the dream activity is taken into consideration as a direct emanation of the Divine Will. Music and dance in “Dreams Tree” – a duet for two dancers of Balletto di Roma cawith the choreography of Valerio Longo and the music of Riccardo Joshua Moretti – activate an imaginary made of visions both internal and external, capable of bring the viewer back to the deep meaning of Universality imprinted in the mind and soul of the human being.
