La Scuola di Danza del Balletto di Roma presenta il Corso Musical Theatre 2019/2020

From the age of 4, he introduced the first elements of acting, music, singing and ensemble dance.
4-13 years – 9 intensive weekends
It is a course that involves the use of multiple expressive and communicative techniques joined together, in order to analyze each child’s energy and sense of rhythm. Acting, diction, singing, scenic art and dance lessons (Hip Hop, Video Dance, Funky) are scheduled from October to January. From February, after a commissioned Mock Audition, the teaching will be dedicated to the preparation of the show.
The many hours available will give children the opportunity to go deep into work and have fun experimenting with the energy that is released in a rehearsal room during the preparation of a show.

The Musical Theater course for the academic year 2019/2020 will be divided into 9 modules – addressed in 9 intensive weekends (Saturday and Sunday in laboratory form with 120 hours of study in the hall) – and a final show.

The hours available continuously will allow students to measure themselves with the experience of setting up a show like a real company of small professionals. This year, a further opportunity for discussion will be provided by the Masterclass cycle with professionals from the world of entertainment, exponents of the musical, variety, theater, dance and dubbing.

Masterclasses will be held by:
– Massimo Lopez, actor and imitator as well as historical television face will conduct a focus on dubbing and vocal setting;
– Paolo Sassanelli, well-known film and TV series actor, will give a lecture on film acting;
– Giampiero Ingrassia, Italian face of the musical, will reveal the background and tricks of the theatrical work in the round;
– Giulia Fabbri, young actress and singer, will tell closely the secrets of successful musicals such as Grease, Les Miserables and the most recent Mary Poppins.
– Rita Pivano, classically trained choreographer active in the creation and preparation of musicals and TV shows.
– Thomas Signorelli, eclectic choreographer of numerous events and currently art director and choreographer of The Voice of Italy.

The path taken by the Ballet School of Rome with the Musical Theater course in the Kids section has already trained small performers, a group that has grown with commitment and dedication, without ever missing the healthy fun necessary for learning at an early age. In the academic year. 2019/2020, with the consolidation of the present group and with possible new entries, groups with separate work sessions are foreseen, to allow everyone to be followed and monitored in the different learning and study phases.
