Students aged 8 to 17 can access the annual courses of the Ballet School of Rome through audition. The courses are limited in number and provide a maximum of 18 students per class.
On the basis of technical-artistic eligibility criteria established by the management, the student who passes the exam is directed towards the most suitable teaching for their technical and physical skills and potential and therefore included in the reference course.

Each annuity takes place from September to June and at the end of each academic year there is a suitability exam for the transition to the next course.
For the best students, the School offers the opportunity to participate, during the entire training course, in the daily lessons and possibly in the artistic productions of the Compagnia del Balletto di Roma.

The School also provides for the awarding of scholarships to guarantee the start and completion of the entire academic path to particularly deserving and / or less well-off students. Further exemptions and financial concessions (up to 50%, according to merit or income requirements), will be evaluated to promote the inclusion of male students (of the Advanced and Integrated courses).
There is no entrance exam for students of the PROPEDEUTICA courses. To apply for admission, simply fill in the corresponding application form. You will then be contacted by the Secretariat of the Ballet of Rome to attend one or two free trial lessons (the trial lessons generally take place at the beginning of the academic year, in the months of September / October).
