Summer Internship of Classical and Contemporary Dance.

During the summer, between June and July, it returns the SUMMER SCHOOL directed by Paola Jorio. For four weeks, the dance school welcomes daily lessons in classical, contemporary and repertoire techniques with guest masters from the most important international academies and with the teachers and choreographers of the Ballet of Rome.

Who can participate

The internship is aimed at students from the age of nine, coming from all Italian and international dance schools and academies. It is also open to professionals and listeners.

Aims

The SUMMER SCHOOL is an opportunity to continue the course of study started during the academic year, but also to enrich one’s preparation by coming into contact with new styles, teachers and teaching methods. It is useful for students of advanced courses who want to keep training and learn more about their technique during the summer break and it is an effective introduction to the academic path for students admitted to the Ballet School of Rome.

Scholarships

Every year, during the SUMMER SCHOOL, the director Paola Jorio assigns deserving scholarships to students for the academic year and for participation in the winter workshops of the Ballet School of Rome.

How to register

It is already possible to book your participation by filling in the pre-registration form on this page. Pre-registration entitles you to a 5% reduction on internship costs.
Pending the program of the next SUMMER SCHOOL, it is possible to consult the Brochure of the last edition (summer 2019) by filling in the registration form.
